Riser Testing, Servicing & Maintenance

Both Dry Riser and Wet Riser systems are required to be serviced by qualified mechanical engineers on a visual basis every 6 months and should be subjected to a pressure test annually.

Both dry and wet riser systems are prone to neglect and vandalism but should be in fit working state if ever they are need by the fire service. There can be potentially sever penalties if the risers fail to work for the fire service.
